As a non-profit organization, we are reliant on the support of our members in a volunteer capacity.

all competitive members are required to have at least one guardian participate in one of the following committees.

ALL competitive members are required to assist in the following regardless of position on other committee's:

  • The Prop Committee, during stage rehearsals and competitions

  • The Costume Committee, for individual costume needs

  • The Gala Committee will require all members to assist in some capacity as the Gala is the only group fundraising event for the Society. Proceeds from this major event are used to keep fees low and sustain the operations of Strive Dance Academy.

Considerations:

  • Additional volunteers or participation from additional guardians are encouraged and appreciated but not required.

  • A description of committee duties can be found here. They are not inclusive to the list provided and may vary year to year

  • Time commitment may vary based on committee, season, and time of year. The committee chair will communicate this to its members. The information provided is only guidelines for Committee time commitment and this may vary from season to season.
