season 16 extra work APPLICATION
Extra work is available exclusively to dancers enrolled in Strive’s Season 16 Competitive Program.
We believe that extra work is a privilege and should be based on individual readiness and a dancer’s personal goals. Dancers and parents share the responsibility and commitment to this challenge: Dancers commit to working hard and parents commit to honoring their child’s choices and providing necessary support.
Please Note: Strive Dance Academy promotes participation in Strive groups ahead of solo work. Dancers wishing to be considered for Extra Work in Solos, Duets, and, Trios, are encouraged to participate in Musical Theatre in addition to their 3 mandatory classes of Jazz, Tap, and Ballet. (Musical Theatre is not considered Extra Work, it is part of our enrichment program and all competitive dancers are eligible to enroll.)
To be considered, please indicate your interest by filling out the application form. Teachers will then make a decision and plan timelines accordingly. Dancers must realize that not every request will be granted, however, we are pleased and eager to learn about each dancer’s personal goals.
